Restaurant Café exterior on a quiet Manhattan street

Upper East Side · Est. 2018

What if your morning coffee tasted like somewhere you wanted to stay?

A neighborhood café on 95th Street where the espresso is pulled slowly, the menu changes with the season, and the light falls just right at four.

Our Story

A place that
feels like yours

We opened Restaurant Café on a quiet stretch of 95th Street because we believed a neighborhood should have a place that isn't trying to impress anyone — just serve good coffee, honest food, and treat people like they've been here before.

Our coffee is roasted by friends who take it seriously. Our kitchen sources from farms and producers we've met in person. Our hours are long because some of our guests arrive at eight and leave at ten, and both visits matter to us equally.

This isn't a concept. It's just a café on the Upper East Side that decided to care about the small things — the temperature of the milk, the weight of the bread, the way the afternoon light hits the corner table.
